From Manhattan to the steps of the US Capitol, Climate Ride is more than a bike trip – it’s an inspiring journey with 150 like-minded people who are united by their passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and bicycles - the ultimate carbon-free form of transportation.
March 2011, Nairobi, Kenya: Keegan Eisenstadt visited the first certified Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) project, the Kasigau Corridor REDD project. This Wildlife Works project is protecting over 500,000 acres of forest that is bringing benefits of direct carbon financing to rural Kenyan communities while also securing wildlife migration corridor between Tsavo East and West National Parks.

February 2011, Missoula, MT: Our intern, Aleta, is helping the University of Montana's Climate Action Now (UM CAN) group organize a February 25th Power Shift Benefit at the home of former U.S. Representative Pat Williams. Funds raised will allow UM CAN students to attend the Power Shift Conference in Washington, D.C.
February 2011, Washington, DC: We're pleased to announce ClearSky is working with Pact, Inc., a 40-year old international development NGO, to develop and implement its signature initiative based on avoided deforestation. This work will include REDD activities related to readiness, policy and projects around the world.
February 2011, Missoula, MT: Aleta, our new University of Montana Climate Change Studies Intern, begins her project with ClearSky. She is a climate advocate through-and-through, check out her background here.
January 2011, Missoula, MT: ClearSky project development team, Stephen Handler and Molly White, teach "Carbon Offsets 101." The 2-day course will be held at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Headquarters and covers the entire start-to-finish process of designing and implementing a carbon offset project.
