October 2008, CES Blogger Jet: Now Green with ClearSky Climate Solutions - ClearSky Climate Solutions is teaming up with the Parnassus Group, a social media consulting firm, to green some of the side events of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show. The Parnassus Group organizes special events for bloggers covering the event, including a charter jet flight to and from the show. June 2008, Carbon Offsets Daily - Keegan Eisenstadt, CEO of ClearSky Climate Solutions, was recently interviewed by Carbon Offsets Daily, an online news source dedicated to climate change topics and carbon markets. March & April 2008, El Salvador and Indonesia - ClearSky members went to El Salvador and Indonesia to look at the possibilities of designing land based carbon mitigation projects. These projects were considered in the context of larger, ongoing rural development projects to generate revenue and interest to catalyze improved local natural resources management. The proposed projects were considered as mechanisms decentralize the majority of both the revenue and the responsibilities back to the local, village level.
March 2008, Missoula, MT, USA – ClearSky Climate Solutions, LLC is launched. ClearSky Climate Solutions, LLC (ClearSky) is a new global climate change enterprise, specializing in developing high-quality GHG emissions reduction projects, consulting to partner organizations to reduce their carbon footprints, and mitigating emissions with carbon credit offsets. ClearSky’s history is in designing tropical forestry projects for the purpose of generating high-quality tVERs and tCERs for voluntary and regulatory CO2 markets. ClearSky has purchased and incorporated CO2OL-USA as a division, and retains ownership of, and the rights to market, the tVERs generated through the duration of CO2OL-USA projects. Additionally, ClearSky is expanding its focus to include sectors such as agriculture, energy efficiency, methane capture, and other avoided emissions activities. ClearSky services have also grown to include carbon credit sales to individuals, consulting for individuals and organizations, and brokering carbon credit transactions.
